We were so tired of having receipts scattered in a lot of different places, both as private consumers and small business owners, that we decided to develop an app where we could keep track of these.

When we had been working with it for a while, we realized that we often wanted more information from the receipts, not only sums and VAT rates, but also warranty periods and product names. We then realized there was even more things that we want to know about the things we own. We came to the conclusion that in the future we must develop interactive receipts to be able to take care of our things better. At the same time, it is becoming more and more common for the stores where we bought our things to offer services such as repairs, help with upgrades and accessories, which are all sustainable alternatives to always buying new products.

This is somewhere where Payl was created: we want to build a service where users can keep track of everything they own - from planning to recycling or resale.

In the future we will add a lot of features linked to your receipts, such as alarms when the warranty period is about to expire, links to local craftsmen who can help with installations, the nearest recycling station and so on. We will simply continue to develop the app until it is the perfect service to keep track of everything you want to buy, already own or want to get rid of. Our contribution to a sustainable consumption.
